Maruti Suzuki has introduced the 2025 Ertiga at showrooms across India. This updated MPV brings a few subtle design changes, improved passenger comfort, enhanced safety, and attractive pricing. The Ertiga continues to remain one of the most popular entry-level MPVs in the country due to its practicality and family-friendly features.

Key Takeaways

  • New exterior updates include extended roof-mounted rear spoiler, refreshed tail lamps, and revised rear panels.
  • Enhanced safety with 6-airbags standard across all variants.
  • Improved AC and charging options for second and third-row passengers.
  • Price reduction due to GST 2.0 reform, saving up to ₹47,000 on select variants.
  • Powertrain remains unchanged with 1.5-litre petrol and CNG options.

Exterior Updates

The 2025 Ertiga has grown slightly in size, now measuring 4,435 mm in length, giving it a stronger road presence. Its new rear spoiler is extended and comes with black inserts, which are now standard across all trims. Tail lamps and the tailgate have been redesigned, while most other exterior elements such as the front grille and headlamps remain the same.

Interior Enhancements

Inside, Maruti has focused on safety and comfort. All variants now come with 6-airbags. Previously, lower trims had only 2 airbags, and higher trims had 4. A tyre pressure monitoring system is available for the top model. All seven seats now have 3-point seatbelts, improving safety for every passenger.

Passenger comfort has also been improved with revised AC vents. The second-row vents are now placed below the center console. Third-row passengers have dedicated side vents with adjustable fan speed. Two Type-C USB ports are provided for both the second and third rows on ZXi and ZXi+ trims. The PM 2.5 air filter is now included in the top variant.

Other features retained from the previous model include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Arkamys premium sound system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a color TFT instrument cluster. Safety technology like electronic stability program, hill hold, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and rear camera remain standard, with Suzuki Connect available in higher trims.

Engine And Performance

The mechanical setup remains unchanged. The 1.5-litre K15C petrol engine produces 103 PS and 139 Nm, paired with either a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The CNG variant delivers 87 PS and 121.5 Nm, with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Price Benefits

The 2025 Ertiga has become more affordable following the GST 2.0 reform. Prices now start at ₹8.80 lakh for the LXI variant, offering savings of ₹32,000 to ₹47,000 across various trims. The tax cut lowers ownership costs such as road tax, insurance, and EMIs, making it more attractive for families.

  • VXI – ₹9,85,000 (Save ₹36,000)
