The Second-Generation Hyundai Venue is all set to make its official debut on November 4, 2025, and ahead of the launch, the SUV has been spotted completely undisguised in South Korea. The new Venue comes with a fresh design language, an updated interior, and several new features inspired by Hyundai’s larger global SUVs like the Creta, Tucson, and Ioniq 9.

Key Takeaways

  • Launch Date: November 4, 2025
  • Completely redesigned exterior and cabin
  • Twin 10.2-inch connected screens inside the cabin
  • New features: 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, panoramic sunroof
  • Same petrol and diesel engines with possible new automatic option for diesel

Exterior Design

The 2025 Hyundai Venue gets a complete visual overhaul. The front fascia now features a split headlamp setup with C-shaped LED DRLs, a larger rectangular grille, and a silver skid plate at the bottom. The new grille design is similar to what we’ve seen on the Alcazar and Palisade, giving the compact SUV a more muscular look.

On the sides, the Venue carries forward its boxy stance but with more defined lines and smoother surfaces. It features flared wheel arches, thick cladding, and a new rear quarter glass, adding to the SUV’s presence. The blacked-out C-pillar now has a silver accent with the “Venue” branding, while the 16-inch alloy wheels come in a brand-new multi-spoke design.

The rear gets a connected LED tail-light bar stretching across the width, similar to the Creta. The tailgate looks cleaner, with the ‘VENUE’ lettering placed below the light bar. A dual-tone bumper, L-shaped reflectors, and silver skid plate complete the new look.

Interior And Features

The interior of the new Venue sees one of the most significant upgrades since its launch in 2019. The cabin now adopts a dual 10.2-inch curved screen layout – one for the digital instrument cluster and another for infotainment. The dashboard has been redesigned with premium switchgear, a three-spoke steering wheel, and dual-tone upholstery.

In terms of features, the SUV is expected to come with ventilated front seats, powered driver’s seat, rear AC vents, and a panoramic sunroof. Advanced tech like Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree surround view camera, dual-zone climate control, and an upgraded Bose sound system could also be offered on higher variants.

Safety will be handled by six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and front and rear parking sensors.

Engine Options

Under the hood, Hyundai will continue with the existing three engine choices:

  • 1.2L petrol engine (83 PS, 114 Nm, 5-speed MT)
  • 1.0L turbo petrol engine (120 PS, 172 Nm, 6-speed MT / 7-speed DCT)
  • 1.5L diesel engine (116 PS, 250 Nm, 6-speed MT / expected 6-speed AT)

The main highlight could be the addition of an automatic transmission with the diesel variant, a move already seen in the Kia Sonet.

Pricing And Rivals

The 2025 Hyundai Venue is expected to be priced slightly higher than the current model, which starts at ₹7.26 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Once launched, it will renew its rivalry with the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Maruti Fronx, and Toyota Taisor.

The Venue has been one of Hyundai’s best-selling models, averaging 7,000–8,000 units monthly, and the new version looks ready to continue that success with its updated styling and premium features.
